UGM-TC Gives Thanks

Posted: November 29, 2019

This Thanksgiving was a special one at Union Gospel Mission of Tarrant County. So special that we celebrated the holiday over two days! Our cooks and volunteers prepared and served a wonderful meal of turkey, stuffing, mashed potatoes and gravy and – of course – pie. Additionally the first one hundred guests received a gift bag with a Wal-Mart gift card, bus pass, socks, toiletry kit and more! Hundreds of lives were touched this year through a warm meal, love and most importantly, hope.

We also held a luncheon for our former residents a few days before the holiday. Everyone gathered in fellowship and enjoyed a delicious meal. It is a true blessing to stay connected with our program graduates and see how God continues to work in their lives after they leave the Mission.

Thank you to everyone who had a hand in making this Thanksgiving a memorable one for the residents and guests at Union Gospel Mission of Tarrant County. We are thankful for you, our friends, every day of the year.
