Fun In The Sun

Posted: June 29, 2015

Each year, as school comes to an end, parents are left with the same question, “How will the kids stay busy this summer?” That is no different for the parents at the Mission. We try to help out by planning various recreational activities such as going to the public pool, plays, and baseball games etc. But, another great way to keep our kiddos active and engaged over the summer is having them participate in a variety of camps going on in the area. Some of the camps and activities include:

  • Reading Programs with fun ways to help keep kids’ reading and writing skills sharp over the summer.
  • Vacation Bible School featuring songs, skits and activities based on favorite biblical themes.
  • Camp Crusis for fun and fellowship in God’s Garden, including sports, arts & crafts, music, swimming and horseback riding, as well as worship and teaching.
  • Camp L4 where kids enjoy horseback riding, fishing and crafts while learning how to make healthy life choice
Help keep our kids active this summer, by helping provide them with supplies for camp!
