Volunteer Appreciation

Last week, we celebrated our wonderful volunteers with an evening in their honor at our annual Volunteer Banquet at Joe T. Garcia’s. The evening was full of delicious food, awesome raffle prize items, great music and best of all wonderful fellowship among our volunteers.

Whether it’s volunteering in our kitchen, tutoring our children, or leading a chapel service, our dedicated volunteers make it possible to do what we do everyday at the Mission. Last year alone, we logged over 27,000 volunteer hours!

Also, last Thursday was North Texas Giving Day and we were thrilled to have raised over $50,000 for the Mission! That’s almost $10,000 more than last year! We could not have done it without our volunteers and the support of the amazing individuals in our community!
