Volunteer Process

Requirements:

  • Adult volunteers (18 or older) must complete an application and attend an orientation session
  • Children must be 12 or older to volunteer as long as they are accompanied by an adult
  • Volunteers wishing to work directly with children must submit a copy of their driver’s license and complete an Authorization Release Form. (This is done at orientation.)

Group Volunteering:

Please note that ALL group members must attend an orientation before the group can schedule volunteer time. Also, for groups with youth, there must be at least one adult for every six youth in order to volunteer.

Orientation:

To sign up for an orientation session please contact the Volunteer Office at 817-332-2922 or mschein@ugm-tc.org. Please note that space is limited at each orientation; therefore volunteers must sign up in advance.

After completing the application and attending an orientation (and receiving a clear background check, if working with children), volunteers may begin to schedule volunteer time by contacting the Volunteer Office. All volunteer time must be scheduled in advance.

Application:

If you’re interested in volunteering at UGM-TC please fill out our volunteer application online.
