Guests are baptized into new life at UGM-TC

Alpha

Offering the residents of UGMTC an opportunity to ask hard questions about God in a safe environment is crucial to the growth and life changes of those we serve.

Alpha, a course that covers the basics of Christianity, teaches about God’s love and helps residents experience that love, as well. Every part of the Alpha course is designed to tell people: Your thoughts matter. Your questions are relevant. Your life is valuable. It’s a message that’s applicable to all people.

At UGM-TC in particular, the Alpha Course consists of a 15-lesson discussion series, and is provided twice a year.

Currently, around 200 residents and leaders participate in Alpha each week, and in 2010, more than 700 residents participated in Spiritual Development courses, including ALPHA!
