Financial Accountability
Those who entrust their financial gifts to the Union Gospel Mission of Tarrant County provide the resources necessary to provide love, hope, respect, and new beginnings to those who are homeless in Tarrant Country. We are honored by your participation in this work.
You have our promise to:
- use your contributions faithfully and wisely to minister to those who are entrapped by poverty, hopelessness, and dependencies of many kinds in order to see lives transformed to hope, joy, lasting productivity, and eternal life through the power of Jesus.
- respect your privacy by refusing to make your name, address, or any other personal information available to any other entity.
- contract with an independent accounting firm to conduct an annual audit of our finances, and making these financial reports available to all who request them.
Should we receive more contributions than needed for a specified project, excess gifts are directed to meet a similar pressing need.
The Union Gospel Mission of Tarrant County is a member of the Association of Gospel Rescue Missions (AGRM), an accredited charity of the Better Business Bureau (BBB), and highly rated on both Charity Navigator and Guidestar. By the Mission being accountable to these other organizations, you can have confidence that we adhere to the highest standards of Christian stewardship and ethical financial practices.
