Emegency Care for Men, Women and Children…

If you are hungry or need shelter, we can help. Doors open at UGM-TC a little before 5:00 pm and all guests attend a short chapel service before dinner.

We serve hundreds of meals a day, three times a day, and would be happy to help you!

For details about our residential programs, please see either the women’s, men’s, or family pages.

Emergency Overnight Shelter for Men Only…
If you need to stay overnight and are not part of our residential program, check-in follows the meal.

You need a homeless ID card to sleep in the Emergency Dorm. If you do not have one, we can provide you with one while you eat. Guests can check in on the porch.

Before you can stay the night, you must be tested for TB. You will be provided with an appointment or you can show up at the door up until 9 pm.

During intake, the policies and procedures of UGM-TC will be reviewed with you and your information will be entered into our computer system. You can stay three nights per month. In addition, we work with other shelters/agencies if additional nights are needed. When temperatures are over 90 degrees or under 40 degrees, guests are welcome regardless of how many nights of shelter they have used that month.

Men staying in the Emergency Dorm may be shifted to the resident program when room becomes available.

Walk-in for admissions to the Men’s Overnight Emergency Dormitory are every day from 7:00 – 9:00pm
