Volunteers are fundamental in helping Union Gospel Mission of Tarrant County execute its mission to provide love, hope, respect, and a new beginning to the homeless in the community. Volunteering can make a profound impact in enriching the lives of our residents and guests.
Requirements:
All prospective volunteers (18 and up) are required to attend an orientation session and complete a volunteer application online before volunteer time can be scheduled. To sign up for an orientation, please contact the Volunteer Office at 817-338-8402 or lkinney@ugm-tc.org
There is a minimum age policy that requires volunteers be 12 or older and accompanied by an adult in order to serve at UGM-TC.
Volunteers wishing to work directly with children must submit a copy of their driver’s license and complete a current Background Release at orientation.
Court appointed community service hours cannot be completed at UGM-TC.
