Stripling-Glenn Dining HallStripling-Glenn Dining Hall

UGM-TC boasts a modern commercial kitchen designed as a culinary training facility. Our guests and residents can enjoy three nutritious meals a day: breakfast, lunch, and dinner. The small staff, supplemented with residents and volunteers from the community, achieves a daily miracle.  They provided over 230,000 hot, nutritious, home-cooked meals last year alone—with a food cost of only $1.71 per meal!

The airy dining hall is filled daily with hungry men, women, and children, who leave smiling and satisfied. After meal times, the dining hall also serves as a meeting space for various groups, and is used for entertainment, games, and events for the residents. To volunteer and help serve meals, CLICK HERE.

In addition to providing meals, the kitchen also provides residents with the opportunity to work toward food certification, and to achieve sanitation certificates which allow them to gain employment in the food industry.
